Are you up for visiting a brewery? Station 26 Brewery is located at 7045 East 38th Avenue, and it is housed in an old fire station that has been beautifully restored. On top of that, there is the Renaissance Hotel close by as well, just to give you another idea for lodging.
Lakeside Amusement Park sounds like a lot of fun, don’t you think? This amusement park is located at 4601 Sheridan Boulevard, and it is like a giant state fair with an older wooden rollercoaster, very cool. Is it time for some funnel cake? Reviews say that this amusement park features easy access, and evidently that’s not the case with Six Flags. That’s one one reviewer says, and either way, Lakeside Amusement Park is different than Six Flags, unique and a great place to stop and enjoy some family fun. It reminds me of a place near my home in Myrtle Beach.
South Platte River Trail is another interesting place to visit in Denver. You get to pass through Confluence Park, see Cherry Creek and of course the Platte River and much more. This would be a nice way to see more of the beautiful natural areas that are part of the big city of Denver as well. Explore the Wall Street of the West and everything that the city has to offer.
